Anthony Conway and Kelly Schmitke founded Mountainview fifteen years ago, in the passionate belief they could deliver a higher quality product – and far better service – than anyone else. Driven by this sense of purpose, they started small but grew rapidly, and soon became known as “the” company to go to for those who wanted “something more.”
Anthony describes “something more” as their quest to add greater and greater value – in terms of predicting and solving client problems; finding innovative ways to overcome “impossible” design challenges, and ever closer collaboration with clients to ensure that project outcomes surpass expectations. “We literally want to help the architects, builders and homeowners we work with to turn their vision into reality,” he notes. “And we love to take on the challenges they bring us.”
“Our clients tell us that we’ve raised the bar,” he adds, “but we are never satisfied, and we constantly strive to improve in everything we do.” The company’s sweet spot is being asked to consult early in the design stage, “when we can help clients remain true to their vision, but avoid costly mistakes along the way.” Clients say Mountainview’s expert advice and personal, hands-on service differentiates them from others and makes them true project partners.
Looking to the future, Anthony, Kelly and the Mountainview team envision “more of the same” in terms of their commitment to old-world craftsmanship – and more that is new in terms of design and production technology. The company leads the way in meeting new NAFS building code standards for windows and doors – and is proud to operate in a sustainable manner that involves a short and safe supply chain, and low impact manufacturing, with no toxic byproducts or waste.
